  • We find that 5 to 7 studios in a day will allow you time to chat, drive and pause. Some of our studios are holding Special Events during specific time slots, so plan your trip accordingly. As this is a driving-based event, remember to plan your trip and drive safely.

  • 1-Day Access: Rp 250,000

    2-Day Access: Rp 400,000

    Community Sponsor: Rp 1,900,000

    Tickets are non-refundable but transferable.

  • Transportation is not included. You select your transport of choice, which gives you the ability to plan your own art journey and visit the studios at your own pace.

  • No workshops this year. Studios are focusing on providing attendees with a special studio visit experience. However, several studios will be offering workshops after the main event, so do ask if one grabs your attention.

  • Please ask first. Artists have the right to deny others permission to photograph their work and please understand that this is the norm rather than the exception. The best way to photograph the work is to ask the Artist to be in it with you and always tag the artist and ask for permission if you are going to put images on social media.

  • The rich and diverse culture of Bali plays out at all levels of life in Ubud, from the exquisite flower-petal offerings placed everywhere, to the myriad temple ceremonies, to the otherworldly traditional music and dance performed each night. Ubud is located in the heart of Bali and is famous for its connections to art and culture.

  • Flights can be booked into and out of Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Bali International Airport or Denpasar International Airport. Despite the misleading names, the airport is actually located in Tuban between Kuta and Jimbaran, about one hour away from Ubud. Ngurah Rai is Indonesia's 3rd busiest international airport (after Jakarta and Surabaya) and a major hub well-connected to Australia, South-East Asia, and the rest of Indonesia.

  • Our host and partner, Titik Dua Ubud, is generously offering a 20% discount to all UOS24 Participants. Please use promo code “UOS24” when booking your stay.

Stay period: 20—24 March 2024. The price will be automatically adjusted if the promo code is entered before searching.

  • In buying a ticket, you agree to the Terms & Conditions.

Tools, techniques, materials, and mind-blowing skills

Ubud Open Studios is an amazing opportunity to peek into all the different worlds of creativity and making, many of them driven by handmade processes. Bali has a special way of never saying no to crazy beautiful ideas. Whole houses made of bamboo? Why not? Giant dragons made of fresh coconut leaves? Sure. Mythical creatures leaping off the page? Of course.

Hopefully, this will trigger a waterfall of ideas, and give you a new appreciation of the hidden facets of Ubud’s creative ecosystem and human brilliance.

You'll have the chance to hang out with Ubud’s local creative stars and pick their brains about their creative processes and more. Get your burning questions ready!

Eye candy and inspiration as far as the eye can see

Maybe the artist will be working on a new project, maybe they will show you through their archive, maybe they will tell you a few of their secrets, maybe you will fall in love with a piece and take it home, maybe the artist will tell you their favorite gallery or restaurant in town to try, or a friend of theirs will be hanging out for the day. You’ll never know what you will find.
